Drawing & Painting/ Portfolio Prep

Materials: Objects, lighting, drawing paper & materials

1.      on-going- Observational drawing and Painting techniques (grid technique)
 

2.      on-going- Photos references ( how to take photos and how to use them in your work)

Light Installation- 3/27- Utilize the Radial Designs.

Materials: Print onto transparency film & contact paper or use window clings, light kit

Photography

 

Theme-based:  Abstraction through magnification/ texture / light/ color

            A.  Themed Series to be Printed as Individual pieces for Show and possibly                                  complied into a larger collaborative piece

            B.  Book/cards for show

                Materials: Cameras, Order large prints from EcoLab for show, mount on foam core  
                                   with rubber cement

Collaborative Mixed media & Photography : 

    Materials: cameras & mixed media, wireless printer, ink, printer paper

Book binding/Altered Books:
                To incorporate some of the following:  collage, painting, drawing, printmaking :    
                Students should alter their book with a particular theme in mind, themes chosen
                as a group or individually
