CHALLENGE!  30 Day Drawing and Photo Challenges

FRI. JUNE 13th - SAT. JULY 12th

Wondering how you're going to exercise your creativity and stay in practice this summer?
Here is something fun to get you started.
Choose one or two of these challenges and Get Busy!!

If you're up for the Challenge and Can Commit to at least one 30 day challenge,
you could win one of three Arty Prizes!

STEP 1. Make the commitment to yourself


STEP 2. Email me at jenniferpolillo@hotmail.com  to announce your participation, your choice
               of challenge, and where you'd like to post your work (see options below)


STEP 3. Post DAILY progress at least once a week. All submission posts for the week must be 
               in no later than Sunday. Late submissions will disqualify you from competing for a
               prize.


                  Submit work done on 6/13 & 6/14 by 6/15,
                  Submit work done 6/15-6/21 by 6/22,
                  Submit work done 6/22-6/28 by 6/29,
                  Submit work done 6/30-7/5 by 7/6,
                  Submit work done 7/6-7/12 by 7/13

Hi Everyone! 

Thanks for a wonderful first year of CAC and a Phenomenal end of the year exhibition! I am so proud of each and every one of you for your hard work and I cannot wait to see what's in store for us in the future!! I'm working on some BIG project ideas;)

Apply to be a Future Teaching Artist at the DCCA this summer and work side-by-side with professional teaching artists while you act as a junior camp counselor for DCCA's Summer Art Camps. Teen Week at DCCA this summer!

Session 6: ‘Zine Teens: Art Magazines for the New Age, Ages 13-15

August 4 – August 8, 1 pm – 4 pm; $130 Members, $160 Non Members

During this week DCCA teens will learn how to make their own art ‘zines, from development to publication. Fusing writing, drawing, design, photography, and printmaking, these magazines can take many forms. Create a comic, a coloring book, a poetry volume, a manifesto, the sky’s the limit. If you love blogging, you’ll love making these DIY booklets.
